You could consider this a follow-up to last weeks post.
This is a time-lapse video of the mural down in Coconut Creek being painted, start to finish.
More to come later.

More to come later.
So, I've been busy.
( Want to know how busy? Look under the cut! SERIOUSLY. It's a long post. )
I promised art, and art you get.
I'll show you some of the murals I've done, along with the original sketches that I did.
Fort Lauderdale
Here's the sketch. I thought the Hot Bar was on the mural wall. I was wrong. That was fun to find out on my first gig. So I had to redo the whole thing on the fly, without changing it dramatically!

And here it is, all done. This is the longest it's ever taken me to complete a mural, but it was my first one, so growing pains aside, not too bad!

Winter Garden / Orlando
My 3rd store. This took me 6 sketches to get an approval, and every other single mural (14 or 15 I've done now) was approved on the first sketch. It turned out to be a bit of miscommunication, and I finally nailed it. Fun note: This sketch was finished and approved 4 hours before I would start painting the wall.

This photo is close to the finished mural. This is one of the larger ones... 35 feet by 15 feet tall? Something crazy.

Coconut Creek
This is the 5th store I did, but 4th mural. All my murals are numbered, so you can tell which one I did in sequence. However, the numbers are misleading, since the 2nd store I did had TWO murals, which should be numbered 2 & 3, which would make Winter Garden no. 4 and Coconut Creek no. 5, and Ocala has 3 murals, but only one of them are numbered, and North Carolina has two, and both are numbered. Don't try to make sense out of it. It's my system.

This is still one my favorites. I think at this point, I had figured it out. I had the right brushes, I had a system down on how to do it, and from this point on, they would start looking slicker and slicker, and more and more like ME.

Brandon
My girlfriend's favorite mural, and the WIDEST mural to date. Over 40 feet wide. I wanted to go for a steampunk vibe... not sure if I got there, but I think I should make all of these characters into a comic or something.

Finished product. Pretty proud of the details in her coat and the debris flying everywhere. Crap photo, though. Go see the store for yourself to see it in all it's glory.

Sarasota
I wanted to do something different here. Multiple characters, and to tie it into the local area. I had done that previously in Indiana, with a Indy Car theme, and it turned out great (I'll show off the others in another post later). So, my dad had the great idea of making it circus themed. Ringling Bros. is based in Sarasota, and I welcomed his idea because I was lost! +1 for Dad!

The finished product differs the most from any sketch so far. I got to the store and no longer liked the main character, the ring master. Something about her face, I wasn't sure, but then again, I did that sketch in an hour. So I scrapped her, and came up with a better drawing of her. Then I was asked my my construction manager to make the girl on the target "hotter". I agreed, again, the original sketch wasn't all that fantastic, but the idea is there. So hotter she became. The only change to the fire breather is I moved his hand up, because of changes to the seating arrangement in the store. Overall, I think it looks awesome and different than all the rest of the stores in the chain. This took about 20 hours, start to finish, done over the course of 3 days (with the majority of it being painted the last day)

And there you go. I'll show the rest later this week, and give you an insight on the murals, start to finish.
Adios!

Hi.
New art next week?
Sounds good to me.
New art next week?
Sounds good to me.
It's Monday. I woke up with a headache. Not a good way to start this week, BUT. But. I think I'll survive. I have before, so if the past is any indication of the future, then this slight annoyance shall pass.
So. People ask, I deliver. Here's a sampling of some of the Marvel Masterpiece cards I've drawn up...

And just like everyone else who did these cards, I have 10 "Artist Proof" cards to draw up and sell to you, the fair consumer. For $25 bucks you can have a one of a kind Marvel Masterpiece card from yours truly.
Yes. Twenty. Five. Bucks. I'm cheap. (But you also have to pay for some shipping... maybe 4 or 5 extra dollars? Still a steal!)
Three rules: Marvel characters only. No nudity. No smoking. Other than that, it's pretty much fair game. I'll sketch you up a rough of the card before I draw it for your approval and everything, too.
E-Mail me at justinpeterson913@mac.com if you're interested! Hell, you can order all 10 if you want. First come, first serve.
Until next time.

Well, hello.
It's been awhile, hasn't it? Wondering where I've been, have you? Maybe I can shed some light. Or maybe I'll make jokes and confuse you as to what the hell the point of anything is.
See, I haven't gone anywhere, really. I've been right here. Doing my thing. Whatever that thing may or not be, I was doing it. Sometimes I get caught up doing important things, like drawing a billion Marvel Masterpiece cards... and then sometimes I get caught up in moving music from one iPod to another. I mean, lets be honest with each other here, 20,000 songs just don't move themselves, do they?
Anyway, so besides card drawing and iPod nonsense, that's pretty much it. I have no good excuses. That's actually a lie, but I'm not going to TELL you everything little detail of my life... god, you never give me room to just be myself. That's why this relationship is falling apart! GIVE ME SOME SPACE!! Damn!
...I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean it. You know I love you.
Honest truth: I'm lazy. Plain. Simple.
So, to make up for all of that... Lee shamed me into posting a new drawing. That, of course, was yesterday. It's now tomorrow, or as you read this, today. Like I said, I'm lazy. PLUS I have a job, so leave me alone!
Lee... this one's for you.

And OF COURSE I don't have any art supplies with me, so enjoy this terrible drawing on graph paper. Yay.
More updates later. Like, tomorrow? Or, if you read this tomorrow, today?

I'm bad at updating this thing these days.
I attribute this to various things: I moved out of my place, for reason which need not be told here... for it's too boring a story, but I'm better because of it. I've been sort of busy at work, even if it's not with work-related things, and my nights have been spent doing something that, to me, is far better than anything else I could be doing. Of course, this doesn't mean I haven't been working on ANYTHING! I have tons of stuff in the fire...
Item One: Very Near Mint
I promise that you'll see this at some point this year. Even if it's just part of it, it's coming. It's mostly all written at this time, and all that has to be done now is draw the damn thing. It's coming, it's coming, it's coming. I'm aiming for it to manga sized (in both shape and length), but perhaps it'll go up here on the internet in bits and pieces as I get it done. Perhaps in full-length 'issue' pieces... 20 pages at a time, until it's over. It's coming, I PROMISE.
Item Two: Untitled Web Comic Project
This is something that will come before VNM, and if all goes according to plan, I'll post the first one of this series August 1. It's going to be weekly, and it's not going to have any on-going story. There's at LEAST 6 months worth of comics written for this already, so it may turn out to be a m-w-f comic at some point... again, August 1. Look for it.
Item Three: Marvel Masterpiece Sketch Cards
I got accepted, and I'm just awaiting my cards to start drawing on them! Pretty awesome!
Other Random News Bits That Aren't Actually News to Anyone But Me
I upgraded from Apple's Tiger OSX to Leopard, and how glorious it is. I also stood in line for the iPhone 3G, and how glorious THAT is. Being able to surf the web while on the phone at the same time is great (because the internet connection I have at the house isn't mine, I don't know where it comes from, and it sucks)... yes, I'm an Apple nerd, but we've covered this, but it's also going to give us something cool at the end of this post...
I'm giving you your money's worth for this post!
Music I've Been Digging Lately
Coldplay "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends"
I really think that this is their "Achtung Baby!" (more on U2 in a second)... really, it's so damn good. People can hate on it because it's Coldplay, but they're the ones missing out.
Key Track: Lost!
Gavin Rossdale "Wanderlust"
Yes, the same guy who knocks up Gwen Steffani and the dude who sang "Machinehead" brings us his solo album. Completely different than his other bands previous albums, yet somehow familiar at the same time. Again, people hate on him because they think he's just that guy from Bush, but it's really a quality album.
Key Track: Forever May You Run
Relient K "The Bird and the B-Sides"
At one time, a pretty crappy Christian punk band. Now a pop-rock powerhouse of a band that churns out catchy ass song after catchy ass song. And yeah, they're still a Christian band, but there isn't anything wrong with that. Beach Boy harmonies, Beatle-esque tunes, and this album is in and out in less than 33 minutes. You can't beat it.
Key Track: There Was No Thief
My Morning Jacket "Evil Urges"
They are good. End of the story.
Key Track: I'm Amazed
Beck "Modern Guilt"
It's Beck. It sounds like he time traveled back to the late 60's. How can you not like it? YOU MUST. Interestingly enough, this is probably the only Beck album that I can listen to all the way through without skipping a track. Sometimes there's just too much Beckness on Beck albums, and it drains me... this time around, it's all good.
Key Track: Chemtrails
U2 "Rattle & Hum"
I love U2, this is nothing new to anyone. However, the majority of this album is live tracks, which isn't bad, especially when you are as good as these guys are... but it's the studio tracks that really make this thing shine for me. Can you believe a song like "Desire", which is a concert staple, was on this album? It's not even an album! It's a soundtrack! So, anyway, I kind of always disgarded this album as filler, until now. It's the nearly 6 and a half minute song with a weird title that gives us U2 being U2 to their full extent.
Key Track: Hawkmoon 269
Artwork time!
So, I got a new application for my iPhone called "Sketches", which literally allows you to draw with your finger on your phone. You can zoom in, and it's pretty damn rad. I've only just tried to draw this one drawing, but I think it's gonna come in handy, or at the very least, it's a nice time killer.

This post has literally taken me two days to write.
It's over now.

This post has literally taken me two days to write.
It's over now.
So, a few months ago... more like a year, but that's not the point... I was a guest at a comic convention with Lee (
hellomightydog ) we were sharing a table, because we have man crushes on each other (I love his beard, he loves my bald head).
Again, off the point.
Across from us was some guy hawking some comic of his. I couldn't tell you if it was good or bad, because this convention sucked ass, so I'm just going to assume it wasn't a great book. But he had a friend of his who hung out with him most of Saturday. This gentleman looked like your typical comic book convention goer (overweight) and looked the part of your typical comic book fan (not stylish).
But these things are to be expected, and it doesn't bother me in the least. What did bother me, however, was what he did with his time that day. The iPod touch had just come out, and apparently, he had just gotten his oversized hands on it. I need to back track...
I stood in line the day the iPhone came out. I'm an Apple whore, and I'm not ashamed of it. I love my phone. I would show it off to friends who asked, but I would never be obnoxious about it (or at the very least, I tried not to be)... I never surfed the internet while standing around in line somewhere, and I only ever use it in public to make notes of CD's or DVD's that interest me. Long story stort, I don't want to be "that guy" with the iPhone. Yes, I own it. But, it's just a phone. Just as an iPod is an iPod. It's not as much of a big deal to me as it is to others who own them. My friend Ryan would and does dispute this claim, though. But fuck him! (I love you Ryan!)
So, this brings me to the comic fan who was showing off his iPod Touch to his friend at the table during the convention. He was doing it quite obnoxiously, if I remember. Using the YouTube feature to watch bullshit just for the sake of it, flipping though the 'Cover Flow' feature just to show you how cool it is... it bothered me! But... what bothered me moreso than anything else, was his voice. It was a high pitched nerdy voice. And a high pitched nerdy voice is fine, I guess, but after 2 hours of iPod Touch 'show and tell', it was a bit much.
ANYWAY. This isn't that great of a story. It just stuck with me. It stuck with me so much that I drew this picture of him afterwards just to remind myself not to show off my iPhone, ever, again.

By the way, if you know the guy above, sorry? I'm sure he's a nice dude, but Lee can back me up with the fact that this convention sucked (and having to listen to any more Brian Bendis stories would have driven us right out the door... that's another story for another time)... no offense!
::shrug::
EDIT: This isn't meant to say ALL iPod Touch (or iPhone) users are annoying. Sorry to those of you who own iPod Touches and happen to not be annoying people... especially YOU, and you know who you are :)
Again, off the point.

Alright! A short work week, a long weekend, and an American holiday?? How can you go wrong?! (Answer: You cannot)
So, no better way to kick off a long weekend than with giving something away for free. Just like the rest of the things you and your buddies steal from the internet! Only this time, you don't need to have any fear of the Feds knocking down your door and taking you away to the clink!
In February of this year, Lee & I drew one day of our lives. Lee had done this the year prior, and I felt inspired to rip him off.
The goal, however, was to draw all of the comic of the day that day. I believe Lee took a few extra days to finish his, while I took the whole entire month of February to draw one day of my life. I started off pretty strongly, but it took me forever to finish. (That's what she said)
So now, for the first time ever, I give you the comic in it's entirety (nearly!) for free, to you! I say 'nearly' the entirety of the comic, because I have left out three pages. One of these pages is a terrible drawing, and two of the pages were drawn just to kill space. I know, I'm terrible.
I printed up a bunch of these things, and have since nearly sold out of all of them. BUT! For one lucky person, I have one to send to you, free of charge! What's the catch, you ask? There's something wrong with the cover. First person to tell me what it is wins the comic, signed or unsigned (your choice!) If you plan on replying annomously, please add your e-mail address to the reply so I can get your mailing address from you.
Enjoy!

Welcome to yet another time killing entry featuring shitty artwork from my past! Hurray!
This time I bring you more Just Another Wednesday and a special comic from my past, Urban Jungle.
After taking a small break from drawing after college, I decided to get back in the swing of things and revive a comic of mine that I created in high school (Urban Jungle), which is/was basically a Seinfeld rip off, but with early 20-somethings sitting around talking about comics and movies and bullshit like that. I would rescue the two main characters, Colin and Sam, for Very Near Mint, which I have (at this point) put out one issue of. (Don't worry, I'm working on it! I really am! I'll send you pages of the script to prove it!)
So, like I said, I revived the comic after a much needed break from college. I think I managed to only get 4 or 5 one page comics finished before I got lazy again (I'll have to check the files). What I'm about to show you is labeled "03UJ", so one would assume it's the 3rd strip. This is sort of based on a joke me and my buddy Ryan once said? Sorta? I can't remember. Just know that for all intents and purposes, Colin is based on my personality, and Ryan is Sam... even though Ryan isn't black and Sam is. This isn't the point. Look at the comic, it's from November 24, 2003... written and drawn by yours truly.

The girl in the first panel was my girlfriend at the time, for those wishing to know. Anyway, not a bad comic, I got to use some of my animation skills on the laughing panels, and overall, it's kind of funny. Whatever. This shit is free, so don't complain, you didn't pay for it.
Let's move ahead in time nearly 7 months to the wonderful time of June 9, 2004. Crap. This is over 4 years old at this point. Uh, kinda.
So, at this point, I'm drawing the (nearly) weekly Just Another Wednesday. The short story of it's creation is that it was created fast and pretty much had no lead in time. The first one appeared in Digital Webbing Presents # 9, if I'm not mistaken, sometime in mid 2003. Basically, the main character (which was unnamed, until I named him Elliott ((because of Elliott Smith!))) is a rip off of Colin, but sports a goatee and a hat. In my mind, he was Colin's older brother. The comic also featured "Glasses Guy", who was designed without any eyes, because this would be easier to draw I thought. He also went unnamed for quite awhile, until I named him Drake. Drake is now dead. Sorry Drake.
So, the comic was sorta weekly, and was featured on a terrible website which had the worst yellow background ever. I felt like I was always doing these comics at the last minute (they were to go online ever Wednesday), and I never had any comic done ahead of time. Everything was usually uploaded and put on the web the minute it was finished.
This was some fault of my own, working at a record store full time and having a girlfriend (the same one featured in the comic above! I dated her for nearly 2 years!)... so I was lazy about getting them done. But the blame also falls somewhat on my co-writer, who, some weeks, never got me any script, or told me to draw something and he would add the dialogue once I finished. He also had a full time job and a full time girlfriend/wife, so I can't blame him, but he had made a commitment to this website for new strips, so something had to get done, even though we weren't getting anything out of the deal (like I said, the website was pretty terrible).
Which brings me to this comic, which was done, again, last minute. I didn't have any ideas, and I didn't have any script, so I looked to see what I could pull out and use. I found the Urban Jungle comic above, and decided it could be easily altered to work as a JAW comic with little new drawing needed. So, I drew a hat and copied it a bunch of times, a goatee, and drew in 'Glasses Guy' once and used the same drawing of him in all three panels he appears. Time saving! Also, notice that my buddy Ryan gets a shout-out in the first panel.

And that, my friends, is how you recycle. Never let anything go to waste!

Okay, this is at the request of someone special. She says I haven't posted enough, so I made sure to dig up something extra cool that none of you have probably ever seen. Or maybe you have if you were on the internet three or four years ago you could have seen this... but here's my guess: This is all brand new to everyone. Even if it's a few years old. So, this one is for you! (And you know who you are!)
This was a webcomic I did that with a guy named Mike whom I met through Brian Wood (yes, Brian Wood of 'Local', 'DMZ', and other great comics fame). Looking back on these web comics I did, some of them were rushed, some of them touched on brilliance, some of them sucked balls.
However, of all the ones we did, this one is the best of the bunch. Nothing happens 'storywise', but that's okay, because it's a cool concept that breaks the 'fourth wall' (in two different ways, actually!)... I'm sure I had to think of this idea, as it's really driven by the visual aspect of it.
This comic, which was called 'Just Another Wednesday', pretty much formed the basis for my future comic 'Very Near Mint'. For me, 'Very Near Mint' (at least the version I'm writing and drawing right now) is the exact realization of this idea... 'Wednesday' is the sketch, a sort of demo version of what would eventually come. I mean, these characters don't even have names! Seriously! They were referred to as 'hat guy' and 'glasses guy'... yep. Seriously. I can talk more about this comic later, how about some art??

From what I remember, I did all of this in one day. There was a time where I could draw upwards of 3 to 4 pages of a comic a day... but not anymore... I'm getting slower!
And, now, for something extra badass. I bought these CLASSIC Ninja Turtles toys a few weeks ago. I finally got around to taking them out of the box and put 'em up on my CD shelf (between my Clerks toys and Fry from Futurama!)

That's all for me. I promise you this: new art this week. Any requests?

So, I did pretty much the best thing EVER. I compiled a playlist on my iPod with songs they played on 'modern' rock stations when I was a youthful youth.
352 of the best damn rock songs ever, ranging between the late 1980's (R.E.M) and very early 2000's (the Vines)
The majority of these songs are by such bands as Pearl Jam, Bush, Stone Temple Pilots, U2, Green Day... you know, all the faves.
Playing right now as I type this: Soundgarden "Outshined"
FULL TRACK LIST BEHIND THE CUT!
The rules were simple: I had to hear the song on the radio (or at least think I remembered hearing it on the radio at some point) or remember the music video. I listened to a LOT of radio between 1992 and 2000, so pretty much anything that reminded me of sitting on my bedroom floor reading comics, or sleeping over at my friends house playing Sega Genesis with the radio on... songs like "Stars" by Hum, a video that wouldn't leave an impression on anyone else but me, or a song like "Cannon" by Self, which I'm sure you've never heard, but I know it from the time it played on 120 Minutes at 2 in the morning on MTV in 1995 (or something like that)
Now, I'm not saying my list of over 350 songs is the best list ever, and I'm sure many of you think most of these bands suck, but that's okay. I like them so you don't have to.

22 years ago was 1986. I was 5 years old. This seems like a long, long time ago, but really, it wasn't. Ronald Regan was president, the Cold War was in full swing, Hypercolor shirts hadn't been invented yet and U2 was still a year away from unleashing the Joshua Tree on the world. A different time for sure.
So, what does any of that have to do with anything?
Well, the following drawing was done in 1986, by me, at 5 years old. It was drawn on the back of a photo album. The album is orange, the drawing is in pencil, and some crayons are used (yellow, pink and a neon green)...

(Direct Link Here)
Now, I tried my best with Photoshop to get rid of the orange, but this was the best I could do. As you can see, I've drawn a Peanuts-Like character playing tennis with a bike in the background. You'll also notice the fine attention to detail my 5 year old self has, as this tennis player is wearing a fashionable watch! Also, a tube of yet-unused tennis balls is at the ready to the characters left, with the lid already off! Or maybe it's a hockey puck.
Why did I draw this on the back of my photo album... Well, I think the easiest answer is that my Mom, at the time, worked as a waitress for a Tennis club, so this is me putting two-and-two together, I guess! Also, I don't know why I wrote "To Justin" on it, obviously I drew it for myself? My first piece of fan art, I guess... from myself!
Years later, I would be called upon by my job to design a tennis summer camp shirt.

(Direct Link Here)
I don't know which one I like better!
Anyway, next time I'll show you a cover to a comic book I created in 9th grade, and perhaps I'll attempt a re-draw of it. It involves a Canadian with a black eye!
Over and out!

Someday I'll fill you all in on my personal life... the craziness that the last 6 months have brought me, and in some ways, continues to bring me. I used to be a big fan of craziness, but I think as the older I get, the less crazy I really need.
I'm being vague, I know. Maybe next week I'll be able to share? I should just start writing it now, because it's going to take forever... and hell, maybe no one cares either, and perhaps it would ultimately be better as a comic. At least that way you have something to look at.
ANYWAY, I woke up with a really, really weird comic idea in my head, involving our nation's 22nd (and 24th!) President, Grover Cleveland. What this comic is, only I know, but it's probably not what you think it'll be, I can safely say that. Finally, one of my dreams pays off in an off-the-wall idea that is stupid enough to work... you'll see it soon!
Today's sketch... drawn over 3 months ago at MegaCon for Jon (
pandabot5000)... so maybe he can offer up a better scan, but until then, a crappy iPhone photo of said sketch! Heath Ledger's Joker looks & sounds the way the Joker should, in my opinion.

Dammit. Well, time to make the best of it then.
This weekend: Uninteresting to those of you who didn't live it. Basically, I'm a baseball nerd, I always have been. I bought an XBOX Friday (Just when I thought I would never have to deal with any Microsoft product again) (Apparently, I'm an Apple nerd too)... and with the XBOX, I bought MLB 2K8 and Grid, a racing game.
So, I basically sat on my couch, with my new XBOX, and played a bunch of baseball. I'm doing the franchise mode, so I have a whole team of players I don't know... besides the ones I drafted (Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell!) Regardless, my record is 14-3, first place in NL EAST! Yeah, suck on THAT, Braves! 6 games out of first place. BITCHES.
Really, that's all I did. OH. I also watched the Andromeda Strain... which was a 4 hour TV movie on A&E. I also wrote a long as (drunk) blog about it, and how the ending was completely terrible. However, maybe it was actually better, because I was drunk at the time.
Yes, I drank, alone, watching the Andromeda Strain on a Saturday night. And I played baseball.
Anyway, here's a piece of art you may have yet to see... but maybe you have, either way, it's getting posted.

FULL SIZE VERSION HERE
This was done as a present for my Mom. My brother Scott drew himself (he's an American Airlines pilot!) and my sister drew herself (she's going to be a senior in high school this year)... and, I, of course, drew myself. Then I put it all together using the magic of Photoshop and viola! Masterpiece! I look so young in this because my instructions were to "draw yourself as you looked when we we kids"... well, neither of them did so.. so, that's why I have the mop of hair and glasses, and this is pretty much what I looked like circa 1995.
Proof:

Yeah, I'm wearing horizontal stripes. It was in, kids. Look any any picture of Kurt Cobain!
Now that I've embarrassed myself, I'll call it a day.

It's sort of a sick dream of mine to live in a post apocalyptic, war torn, gone to shit world. I really think I would make the best of the situation and roam the lands, helping out whomever needed it... of course, the sad truth about this all is that I would actually probably die before I had a chance to do so, but I'll keep the dream alive.
Anyway, here's what I think I would look like...

Belts and a trench coat and a cowboy hat and bandanas... yeah, I think I would at LEAST look the part!
And, really... isn't looking the part half the battle?

Okay, yeah, where was I? WHO KNOWS! Here, there, anywhere, nowhere... so, I'll make it up to you with some art. Art soothes all of your worries away, no?
First up, we have a new creation, thanks to an ongoing 'competition' between Lee (
hellomightydog) and myself... we give each other a word. ANY word, and then we create a character (hero or villain) based on it in some way. The word I chose for Lee was "sun", as seen here in this sketch, and Lee's word for me was "wood". Now, I should tell you, my first and initial reaction was, I believe, "fuck you!", but I did it anyway. My FIRST attempt was literally a plank of wood with a mask and some hands and he was floating. It was terrible. Maybe I'll upload it later.
ANYWAY, last night I finally had a solid idea, and here you go... the villainous 2X4!

He'll splinter you to death! Watch out!
I was feeling adventurous on Monday, and decided to go and buy some watercolor supplies and take a stab at it. I didn't know if I would be any good, as I hadn't done any watercolor illustrations for years (the last one I did was in college).

And that's all I have for you today. Maybe more later?

Indiana Jones? AWESOME. To hell with the haters! Second favorite of the series, behind Last Crusade. YEAH. I SAID IT. I LIKE IT BETTER THAN RAIDERS. Deal with it!
Okay, nothing original for the blog today, but I do have a work in progress for a t-shirt I'm designing for a local school. This is something I'm doing for my REAL (day) job.

Interesting mix of things going on... the surfer was drawn and dropped into Illustrator, the rest was drawn by hand in Illustrator, and then I have some stock splats that I have on hand. Plus the Comicraft fonts. Needs a bit of tweaking here and there, but it's getting close. Just waiting word back from the school as to what color shirts it's going to go on (which will effect the outcome of the design a great deal!)
By the way, their school mascot is an Indian, so that's why he's rockin' the headband and feather. Don't ask, I just do these things.
Peace out kids.

I have nothing more to say other than I get to watch a brand new Indiana Jones movie, and for that, I am excited.

Nothing much to say today. Busy weekend, now I'm tired. Four bars, two Disney parks, and limited sleep in between it all.
So, today you get Jubilee, sportin' her Generation X look. We can all thank Chris Bachalo for making that book bad ass. I think I'm going to go read it when I get home!

Peace out, home slice.

DAMN me and my need to read Lost spoilers. I know I shouldn't, and I stopped myself from reading more than what I saw... I knew it was wrong to do so! Crud. I didn't give too much away, but what I did read, I wish I could have just found out from watching the show.
Oh Lost... how I love you so.
And, now, a girl with glasses, because Lee's girl with glasses inspired me.
